The WD2245RQ is a very lightweight wideband dipole antenna that does not require a ground plane for proper operation in the 225 - 512 MHz frequency range. Its ideal performance in the 225 - 400 MHz NATO band makes it very well suited for use with modern SDRs, providing an effective coverage for a range of voice and data communications including Have Quick II and SATURN.
